Go4Schools – A guide for Parents/Carers
We are excited to introduce Go4Schools, our new online school data system designed to enhance communication between home and school regarding your child's academic progress. Go4Schools provides parents, carers, and students with ongoing access to attainment information and reports throughout the year.
What is Go4Schools?
Go4Schools is a comprehensive online platform that offers live access to your child's progress, attendance, and next steps in their learning. This ensures you have a clear and up-to-date picture of how your child is performing at school. In addition to this live information, we will now also use Go4Schools to deliver formal reports.
Accessing Assessment Data and Reports
Your child's information is constantly available, allowing you to access it whenever you wish. We will notify you when new reports are published, so you can view them through Go4Schools. The first report for this academic year is already available to view online.
To access Go4Schools, please visit www.go4schools.com.
From the homepage, click on the 'Login' link in the top right-hand corner and select "Parent Login" from the drop-down menu. You will need to log in using the email address you have provided to the school. If you are logging in for the first time, enter your registered email address in the 'First time User?' section and click 'Please send me a Password'. A password will be emailed to you, which you can then use to log in.
Please note, we are currently not using the Go4Schools App, so please use the website.
Understanding Your Child's Report
Your child's report can be viewed online and downloaded as a PDF. It contains key information about their progress, attitude towards learning, homework, and areas for improvement.
At KS3 we judge progress as one of seven academic standards. This is based on the students’ assessments during the course of the year. Please see the table below for an explanation of each academic standard.

At KS4, we use the GCSE grading system from 9 to 1. This is based on the students’ assessments during the course of the year. Please see the table below for an explanation of each new grade.
We believe this system will make it easier for you to stay informed and engaged with your child’s education.
If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact Ben Mills, Assistant Headteacher, at bmills@hrs.education. We welcome any feedback you may have once you have accessed the platform.
