GCSE RESULTS

Once again, Helena Romanes School is celebrating an excellent set of GCSE results, continuing the rising tide of success.

Executive Headteacher, Catherine Davis, commented: “I want to congratulate the class of 2026 for their results this year which reflect their enormous dedication and resilience.  I would also like to thank parents and carers for their support and commend our team of staff for their commitment towards the students.  We wish all of our students success and happiness in their next steps and look forward to seeing many of our students back in the Sixth Form in September.”

There are a number of students who achieved excellent results and made incredible progress during their time at Helena Romanes School.

Amongst the success stories are:

  • Isla W achieved eight Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and is continuing her studies at HRS Sixth Form, studying Maths, History and English Literature.  Isla said “I’m so happy with my results and I know how hard my peers have worked, and so I hope that everyone is happy and has achieved what they have worked for. I am excited to stay on at HRS Sixth Form and continue my educational journey at Helena Romanes!”

  • Ella H achieved six Grade 9s and three Grade 8s

  • Oscar K achieved six Grade 9s and three Grade 8s staying at HRS Sixth Form to study Chemistry, English Literature, History and Further Maths

  • Sam M achieved four Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and two Grade 7s and is staying on at HRS Sixth Form to study Maths, Further Maths, History and Economics.  Sam said “I’m happy to receive my results of all 7-9 grades.  He said I’m especially proud of my results in History, Maths and English.  I am excited to stay at HRS as I have a great relationship with my teachers and my friends are all staying on too!”

  • Yingli T achieved two Grade 9s and seven Grade 8s and is planning to study Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths

  • James D achieved three Grade 9s, five Grade 8s and one Grade 7 and will be studying Maths, Further Maths, Physics and  Economics

  • Rosie C achieved three Grade 9s, three Grade 8s and three Grade 7s.  Rosie said “I’m really happy with my results and really excited to be studying Media, Politics, English Language and Spanish at A Level”.

Head of Year 11, Lucy Cook, said: "I am immensely proud of the resilience and dedication our students have shown over the past year. These GCSE results directly reflect their commitment, as well as the unwavering support of our staff. Seeing so many smiling faces on the results morning was wonderful. Huge congratulations to all our students on these well-earned achievements, we wish you every success in your next chapter."
