Weekly News Bulletin: 7 January 2022

HRS Primary Phase

After a very exciting Christmas break where our children were lucky to have received some wonderful gifts from Santa they returned to school this week excited and ready for learning!

Today they were able to visit the Science department in the secondary school where they were shown around and were able to take part in some amazing science experiments!

As well as being shown how to make elephant’s toothpaste they were able to make a rainbow of colours in a test tube experiment.

We are looking forward to making some experiments of our own and developing new skills and our knowledge in science.

Year 10 Maths Assessments

Year 10 will have their next assessments on Thursday 13th January and Monday 17th January during their maths lessons. Students are encouraged to revise and we recommend completing Memri tasks on hegartymaths.com, and using websites such as mathsgenie.co.uk, BBC Bitesize to revise any topics they have studied using the revision material available. A revision list of topics has been shared with all students on Show My Homework.

It is important that students have the correct equipment with them on the day (pen, pencil, ruler, eraser, sharpener, calculator, compass and protractor).
