The Helena Romanes School’s virtual Open Evening
We are having to organise our approach to our ‘open’ events a little differently this year. Instead of our usual Open Morning, we will be holding a virtual Open Evening on Thursday 1 October from 6.30pm. This event will give prospective parents/carers and pupils the opportunity to see the school in session, hear from members of staff and, most importantly, to listen to our students.  Further information can be found on our website.

Message from the PE Department
Welcome back to the start of the term.  Just a quick reminder about PE kit:

  • Joggers – must be dark (navy or black)
  • Girls’ leggings – The PE skort must be worn over the top of the leggings

Thank you.

Year 9 Parents and Pupils
We have now completed a full two week cycle of our timetables and we have all settled down into the new school routines.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a huge well done to all the Year 9 pupils who have risen to the challenge and conducted themselves well around school and in particular in lessons.  As Your Head of Year I have received various emails from staff commending the Year 9 students in their new option groups and saying what a lovely group of students they are.  I am very proud, and you should be too.  Keep working hard and strive to be the best you can be.
