Weekly News Bulletin: 18 December 2017

Early School Closure – Wednesday 20th December
Please may we remind you that school will close early on Wednesday 20th December 2017 at 12.45pm. Lunch will be available at break time for those students who would like to eat something. The school buses will collect students at 12.45pm to take them home.

May we also remind you that on the last day of term we are inviting all students to wear something “Christmassy” in addition to their school uniform. They would then be asked to bring in an item of food as part of the Uttlesford Foodbank appeal (see paragraph below for further information). Please help us in encouraging your children to support this worthy cause.

Year 7 Modern Foreign Languages
After Christmas the Year 7 classes will be rearranged into sets. These will still contain quite a wide ability range and we will cover the same work in all sets. The students will be informed which sets they will be in during the first lesson back after the holiday so it would be extremely helpful if they could bring in all their MFL books to that first lesson. They will be allocated their new classes/teachers and told which lessons will be for each language. Information for parents/carers will be written in the exercise books.

The Faculty will review these changes after a settling in period.
Mrs N Graves – Head of MFL
