News from Maths
Year 11 – With exam season getting close the first Maths exam (Non calculator) takes place on Thursday 25th May. To assist with revision, I have sent PowerPoint presentations to students outlining the 10 questions they struggled with most from the three exam papers they have recently sat.

Please remind Year 11 students that we run a Maths Cafe after school on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to solve problems and that we are currently working through exam papers to enable students to work through examples of maths problems and learn how to solve them. If students would like additional practice, there are spare maths papers available outside the Maths classrooms in D block.

Year 10 students have just completed their exam and will receive feedback from their teachers, and then it’s back to revision for the GCSE Statistics exam. Students will do an in-class mock exam during the last week of term to see what still needs working on.
