May I take this opportunity to welcome students back after the Summer break and hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing time.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has responded so well to the uniform regulations as outlined in my July newsletter as we have noticed a big improvement on this.
Mr S Knight – Headteacher

School Uniform Regulations – Red Ties
If your child borrowed a red tie from school during the last academic year and has not yet returned it, we would be grateful if it could be returned to the Learning Zone by Friday 12th September 2014.  The item left as security by your child for the red tie may then be collected.  Any item not collected by this date will be disposed of.

For your information, the school holds a stock of blue ties and these may be purchased from the Learning Zone at a cost of £7.50.  Alternatively, ties may be purchased from Jack & Jills of Dunmow or Trutex Direct.

Parents/Carers of Year 7 & 8 Students
Students will have received leaflets detailing routines and expectations in Modern Languages this week.  They will have been asked to ask parents/carers to sign these leaflets.  Please could you support your child by doing this so that everyone can best support our Key Stage 3 students in achieving well.
Thank you for your cooperation.
