We would ask parents to ensure that students avoid wearing fashion accessories and that hairstyles are conservative.  In addition girls in Years Seven, Eight and Nine should not wear make-up and we ask that jewellery be limited to one ring and plain stud earrings.

Many hours and much heartache can be spent looking for lost jewellery and we would like to avoid this. It must be noted that the school cannot accept responsibility for the loss of students’ property.

PLEASE ENSURE THAT ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING AND PERSONAL PROPERTY ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME.

School Food and Catering Service

At The Helena Romanes School and Sixth Form Centre we are proud to be at the forefront of healthy eating and have developed a catering service that provides wholesome, nutritious food that students enjoy eating.  This includes ensuring that the current food provision meets the Government’s food-based standards for all food and the nutrient-based standards for lunch.  The school holds the Advanced Healthy Eating Award and supports the School Food Trust’s Million Meals campaign.  See website link below:
