Early School Closure – Friday 22nd July
Please may I remind you that school will close early on Friday 22nd July 2016 at 12.45pm.  Lunch will be available at break time for those students who would like to eat something.  The school buses will collect students at 12.45pm to take them home.

Rewards Trip Timetable
Students not attending the rewards trips are expected in school as normal.  Absence due to sickness will not be authorised unless supported by medical evidence.  The timetable for the school day is as follows:

Social Media Alert
We have received information from a local school that a person calling “himself”   “Jim Hall” (@jimhall300) is sending students pornographic videos via the app “Music.ly” and is befriending children and young girls.  We will be talking to students in school about this, but please check with your children that they are not in contact with this person.  Any concerns resulting from your conversations can be raised with myself or Mr Emberton via our dedicated Safeguarding e-mail address worrybox@hrs.education.
This matter has been reported to police.

Staff Vacancies
Administration Assistant
2 days/14.5 hours per week Monday 8.30am – 4.30pm & Friday 8.30am – 4pm, term time only.

To provide general administrative support to faculties and staff around the school including production of documents and reports. Filing and copying. Displays and monitoring of resources. Phone/email correspondence with parents/students/staff/external suppliers and many other admin tasks. A willingness to be First Aid trained is desirable.

Student Receptionist
2 days/9 hours per week (days to be negotiated) 8.30am – 1pm, term time only.

To provide general student support including First Aid, Lost Property, Timetable enquiries in addition to administration of Free School Meals, School buses and detentions and many other aspects of student welfare during the school day. Phone/email correspondence with parents/students/staff. A willingness to be First Aid trained is essential.

Marketing Assistant
10 hrs per week, days/times to be negotiated, term time only.

This role will encompass making changes to the prospectus, placing advertisements in local publications, Open Morning administration, updating Social Media with relevant information and other tasks in this developing post.

All positions required for 1st September start, these positions could be combined. All Band 2 Point 16.
