You Can Succeed 2015 – UCS (University Campus Suffolk) Summer Residential Events
We are pleased to have notification of an opportunity for Year 12 students to attend UCS summer schools on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 30 June – Friday 3 July: Arts, Humanities, Business and Applied Social Science
  • Tuesday 14 July – Friday 17 July: Health and Science

These are four day, fully funded residential events where Year 12 students have the chance to take part in a variety of university style subject tasters, student finance and personal statement workshops, as well as a number of social activities.  It is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn about higher education alongside developing key transferable skills that will be useful at university.

All transport to and from UCS will be provided free of charge as well as all meals and social activities.

Places are limited and the event is open to all Suffolk, Essex and Norfolk students in Year 12, therefore we encourage those interested to complete the online application as soon as possible.  Students can apply via this link: http://www.ucs.ac.uk/summerschools

Alternatively students can request further information by emailing schools@ucs.ac.uk with their full name.

If you have any questions please contact Mr Hector in the Sixth Form Office.

Facebook Advice Leaflet – UK Safer Internet Centre
Social Media continues to challenge young people’s safety and well-being. The Safer Internet Centre has produced a terrific Facebook checklist to make sure you understand all the privacy settings.  It is useful to keep.
