Weekly News Bulletin: 10-14 March 2014

Year 8 Options Evening – Thursday 13th March 6.30pm – 8.30pm
Year 8 parents and students have been invited to the Year Options Evening on Thursday 13th March between 6.30 pm and 8.30 pm.  Parents have been informed via ‘In Touch’, or by post, which pathway their child is on for their Key Stage 4 options.  Their pathway does not determine which set the students are placed in for the core subjects of English, Maths, Science, IT, RE and PE.

There will be briefings for parents of students on:

  • Pathway H at 6.30 pm in the Learning Zone
  • Pathway R at 7.15 pm in the Hall
  • Pathway S at 6.30 pm in the Hall

The briefings will explain the options open to students on each pathway and give details of the compulsory core courses in Key Stage 4.

There will be an opportunity to visit displays about the courses on offer and ask questions about individual subjects, before or after the briefings.

If you have any queries, please contact Ms Witty at the school.
